AMERICA’S FIRST COMMERCIAL JET AIRLINER, the Boeing 707-120 Stratoliner, photographed at Renton Municipal airport, Washington. The big aircraft will make its maiden flight this month to Seattle where it will undergo extensive certification testing. Lined up behind the Stratoliner are some KCI3S Stratotankers of the type which early last month set the world distance record for jet aircraft on a non-stop, no-refuelling flight with a 6350-mile flight from the United States to Buenos Aires.
