PUBLIC NOTICES WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL WATER SUPPLYHOSING RESTRICTION PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that the high pressure water supply in the Waimairi County is critical at the present time. In some areas residents are not able to obtain sufficient water to meet household requirements. This position is of a temporary nature only, and has been brought about by a delay in bringing into operation a further pumping station In view of the present position, the Council has invoked the provisions of its Water Supply By-Laws —Prohibiting the use of water from the council’s supply for watering any garden, orchard or field. New Housing Block Due to the temporary breakdown of the Roberts road pumping station it has become necessary to restrict garden hosing throughout the Hornby block, in order to assure adequate water for domestic and fire fighting purposes. Garden hosing will until further notice, be permitted only between the hours of 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily. (2) DICKSON CRESCENT. Hosing restrictions have also become necessary on this system and hosing will similarly be permitted only between the hours of 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. daily. A.
