STARTING STALLS AT FLEMINGTON
Recommendation To V.R.C. (N.Z. Press Association —Copyrights MELBOURNE. November 20. The Victoria Racing Club may decide to install starting stalls at Flemington soon. The Flemington Racecourse manager (Mr W. Mitchell) has spent three months searching for a set of starting stalls suitable for the course, and he will make recommendations to the V.R.C. Committee in three weeks. Mr Mitchell said today he could not comment on his findings or the recommendations he would make. It is believed that the stalls will be almost identical with the peel type now used at Caulfield and Moonee Valley, but with improvements and modifications to make them lighter.
