WARMTH UNDER WATER.—This diving suit was demonstrated at the Centennial Pool recently by Mr J. White, of the Canterbury Underwater Club. Known as an isothermic, or “wet” diving suit, it is made of sponge rubber. To depths of 300 ft, the suit will keep a diver warm, whereas the conventional rubber suit becomes very cold.
