WINNER RELEGATED IN MAIN RACE AT ADDINGTON.—The backmarker, Recruit (outside), winning the Dominion Handicap by a head from Durban Chief (middle), with Barravey third. Cabra, which won the race 12 months ago, finished in the middle of the track in fourth place. Recruit broke on the post, and after an inquiry he was relegated to third place, the race being awarded to Durban Chief. Barravey was promoted to second place.
