MR CLEM BECK
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN. November 11. . Mr Clem Beck, the last survives member of the teams in the fi rst Rugby match between Southland and Otago in 1887. died in Dunedin this morning at th e age of 94 Mr Beck represented Otago times in the 1885. 1887. and 1388 seasons, and played for the Union against the 1888 British team. He was also a noted Cr icketer. and represented Otago I for several years. Mr Beck, ly-’hose wife died some years agolis survived by a daughter and three sons.
