PLANS OF PARADE HOUSES REJECTED
51 nt i lari ties In Design Plans of 10 houses for the 1958 Parade of Homes had not been accepted because of similarities in the doors and windows, said the acting-chairman (Mr O. C. Mitchell) at a meeting of the parade committee yesterday afternoon. “They were not a very satisfactory lot of plans at all,” Mr Mitchell said. “Two of the houses were identical. “However, we have met with a very ready response from the builders who have been asked to co-operate.” he said. “Three builders got in touch with me and thanked me. They did not realise that they were all planning the same type of house.”
