(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) (Rec. 11.20 p.m.) SINGAPORE, October 21.
Married accommodation at least as good as they had back home would be ready for the troops of New Zealand’s anti-terrorist infantry battallion when they arrive in Malaya in December. The First Secretary of the New Zealand Commissioner’s Office in South-east Asia (Mr Jack Shepherd) said this today. He was commenting on New Zealand newspaper reports ,that the Government had done nothing to provide married accommodation for the battalion at its new base at Taiping and at Ipoh, a city as big as Dunedin.
