Speed Detector In City
A micro-wave speed detector is being operated by the City Council's traffic department. It is fitted to a Transport Department car, and is on loan from that department as an experiment to see whether the purchase of a unit i for constant use would be war-1 ranted. Mr G. P. Kellar, the council’s Traffic Superintendeht, would not say yesterday how long the detector would be used in the city, but it will be more than a matter ot days. He said his department was working in close co-operation with the Transport Department. I.
