Demolition Of St. James’ Theatre
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. October 20 Demolition men began today [dismantling the St. James Theatre. London, which is to be replaced by an eight-storey office block, the “Daily Express” reported. Their hammer blows ended the fight to save the theatre which was led by the actress, Vivien Leigh, and backed by other stage personalities.
