N.A.C. VISCOUNT FLIGHTS
Fast Service To Auckland Christchurch will be brought within less than two hours’ travelling time of Auckland on February 3. when the National Airways Corporation will begin scheduled Vickers Viscount flights. In addition to the reduced time of the flight (an hour and 20 minutes less than at the present) passenigers will also be able to enjoy a (higher standard of comfort. Stewardesses will be carried in I the Viscounts and light refresh- | merits will be served throughout i flights. Passengers will also be allowed to smoke while in the | air—a pleasure denied on the present DC-3 services. I When the new services start, th*' I Viscounis will make two flights from Christchurch to Auckland and return daily.
