League Otago Players For Coaching School
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN October 20. The Otago selectors have nominated 12 olayers for the Rugby League coaching school to be conducted byBrian Nordgren in March of next year. Fifteen nlavers will attend each of the North Island and South Island schools 'nr a week.

Events in Metres.—The West Coast (North Island) Amateur Athletic Centre wants metric distances run at national championships in the next Olympic Games year. 1960. At its annual meeting in Wanganui on Saturday the centre decided to forward a' remit to this effect to the N.Z.A.A.A. The centre will also recommend to the national body that a colts’ (under 16) 100 yards event be included in the New Zealand junior championships.—(P.A.)
