Ballroom Dancing Championship
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 20. Mr David Bethell and Miss Gwen Mason, of Palmerston North, have been selected from six dancing pairs finalists to compete in the South Pacific' ballroom championships in Australia. The same pair won the trip last year. The finalists were selected in competitions held by the Christchurch, Wellington. Palmerston North, and Auckland centres of the Federal Association of Teachers of Dancing. The judges were two visiting professional dancers from Britain, Mr J. McGregor and Miss B. Twiggs. Results were:—
