All Black Married At Gore

Guests from many parts of New Zealand were present in Gore vesterday for the wedding of a well-known Eastern hockey representative. Muriel Charlson, and the All Black. William Roberts Archer. The bride is the younger daughter of Mr and Mrs L. A. Charlson, of Hillcrest. Waikaka. and the groom is the elder son of Mr and Mrs C W. Archer, of William street. Gore. The service was conducted in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church by the Rev. Canon H. Hook. The bride’s sister. Miss Marione Charlson, of Melbourne, and Miss Daphne Blomfield. of Dunedin, attended her. A brother of the bridegroom. Mr Watson Archer, of Gore, was best man and Mr Lindsay Townsend, of Dunedin, was groomsman.
