N.Z. Potato Board Election
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. October 3.
The election of a grower member on the Potato Board to represent the southern ward resulted in Mr W. J. Fletcher, of Waimate, being re-elected, the other candidate being Mr K. J. Tarrant, of Temuka. At a meeting of the board held this week Mr Fletcher was appointed chairman, replacing Mr A. Turner, of Auckland, whose term as chairman had expired.
