Animal Welfare Organisation
The combined animal welfare organisation aimed at bringing toge'her all animal-lovers and helping to deal with any ill-treatment of animals, said Miss Olga Dorofaeff, the organiser of the world animal week exhibition held last evening. Prizes were presented to the winners of a poster competition on animal safety Entries from Nelson, Marlborough, and Canter-bu-y schools were displayed Competition results:—9 to 10 years: Leslie Gabites (Timaru). II to 12 years: Sarah Oakley 13 to 14 years: Lynette Cohen, 1; Gary Briggs (Nelson), 2; Robert Young, 3. 15 to 16 years: T.'Parham (Marlborough), 1; Max Nettleton, 2; Peter Williams and Michael Henderson (Nelson) equal 3. 17 to 18 years: Lyn Kerr (Marlborough), 1; Brian Wason, 2; Audrey Hamilton (Marlborough), 3.
