HEALTH STAMP SALES

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 3. Health stamp sales to the end of September were down on last year’s figures, the Post Office announced today. However, this year's figures were compiled from four selling days against five last year. Sales this year amounted to £95,379, or £4138 less than for the same period last year. Wellington topped the district list with £12,003. Christchurch was second with £11,956. and Auckland third with £11,363. The only offices to show an appreciable difference were Timaru and the Stamps Division of the General Post Office.
