Lebanese Aircraft Crashes
(Rec. 11 p.Ai.) NICOSIA. October 3. A Lebanese aircraft carrying three passengers and a crew nf four crashed early today in the Mediterranean 15 miles from Beirut. A Royal Air Force Shackleton bomber from Cyprus sighted the wreckage of the plane at dawn today. Ships have taken over the search for possible survivors. The Shackleton sighted debris and bodies in the sea. An official R.A.F. statement said it was believed there were no survivors.
