One Double A Day At Riccarton
In the meantime, the Canterbury Jockey Club does not propose to provide for more than one double a day at Riccarton. The matter was discussed by the club’s committee yesterday. The committee decided against any change in anv method of wagerin? which does not tie in with the off-course betting system.
The Wellington Racing Club made a similar decision last week, but the Auckland Racing Club will operate two doubles on each dav of its spring meeting on October 5 and 12.
