COMMERCIAL Dalgety’s Rights Make Further Gains
Four parcels of Dalgetys rights changed hands in Christchurch yesterday, all at-jiigher prices than were paid locally on Friday. Most of the business was written at 9s, an advance of 3d on last week’s closing price, and of Is on the opening price last week. D.1.C., Coles and Hays preference were also firmer. Coles pre-paid allotments were steady in a sale at 14s fid.
8.H.P., E.Z. Industries and Woolworths rights were slightly easier. The volume of business was well above average for a Monday.
