FARMER PINNED BY TRACTOR
(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, September 2. A farmer at Slatey Creek in the Ahaura district was fortunate to escape death this afternoon when he was pinned by the chest under the seat of a tractor. He is Mr Frank Dudley. Mr Dudley was towing a trailer loaded with logs when the logs slipped and overturned the tractor. . Mill workers arrived half an hour after the accident and took Mr Dudley to the Greymouth hospital where he was found to be suffering from fractured ribs.
