Mr Dobbs To Succeed Mr Dwyer (From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON. September 1. The administrative Assistant Commissioner of Police (Mr A. N. V. Dobbs) will become Army Secretary when the present holder of that office, Mr F. F. B. Dwyer, retires in about a year. Before that, Mr Dobbs will attend a 12month course at the Imperial Defence College in England. Mr Dobbs was in the Ministry of Works when he was selected as one of the men best qualified to put the Police Force back on its feet three years ago.
