LYNNDALE WINS 63-MILE RACE
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 1. The Lynndale (Auckland) Harrier Club led from start to finish to win the 63-mile annual Wellington to Masterton road race yesterday. Lynndale was within a few minutes of the record established by Scottish (Wellington) last year. Lynndale has now won the Air Force memorial trophy four times in their five attempts since 1946. Scottish finished nine minutes behind the winners with Y.M.C.A. (Palmerston North) third.
