APPOINTMENT TO LOANS BOARD
Mr B. P. Stevenson, Of Auckland (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 1. The appointment of Mr B. P. Stevenson, of Auckland, as a member of the Local Authorities Loans Board was announced by the Minister of Finance (Mr J. T. Watts). Mr Stevenson will replace Mr E. Hitchcock, of Christchurch. Sir William Appleton and Messrs A G. Harper, F. P. Kelly and N. A. Rattray, other members of the board, have been reappointed for another term.
