Riot Results In Romance
A riot in Morocco was responsible for bringing to Miss Patricia Chauvel, the 26-year-old daughter of the French Ambassador to Britain. While working as a newspaper reporter, she was forced to take refuge in a hotel —and there she first met Mr Pierre Schoendorffer. Now they are engaged to be married and their wedding will be a glittering occasion at the Church of Notre Dame de France in Westminster, London. It will take place at the end of September or early October, and will be attended by many leading members of tlje Diplomatic Corps Patricia Chauvel is the elder daughter of the French Ambassador. She was presented, to the Queen at Buckingham Palace last year, and has since visited several trouble-spots overseas on assignments for a French newspaper.
