Bone In Shoulder

Broken (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, September 1. D. A. Grant, the captain of the O«ago Rugby team, fractured a small bone in Ids left shoulder while playing against Auckland yesterday. Grant suffered the injury about 15 minutes from no-side, but remained on tne field until the end. This is the third injury to a key player suffered by the team since it went on tour nearly a fortnight ago. H. J. Levien, the All Black, was injured in the Ranfuriy Shield match with Wellington, and I. M. Stevens, the hooker, was found on Friday to have broken a bone in his ankle.
