'Che directors of the New Zealand Guarantee Corporation have advised that a definite order to purchase a controlling interest in the corporation has been received from a substantia) banking group in London. Negotiations are proceeding, the directors add. and the directors’ recommendations will be forwarded to shareholders in due course.
