COMMERCIAL Rights Again Active
Rights to various share issues were again active on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday, comprising nearly half the turnover.
Dalgetys rights sold 3d up at 8s !»d in three transactions. Seven sales of small parcels of British Tobacco rights were made at the steady price of 9s 3d. Woolworths (N.Z.) rights, which fell to 7s 7d in Christchurch this week, recovered to sell at Bs.
Commercial Bank of Australia, National Insurance and N.Z. Cement were traded at lower prices.
