Victory By Innings And 212 Runs (N,Z Press Association—Commaht) LEICESTER, August 20 The West Indies beat Leicestershire by an innings and 212 runs today, claiming the county’s remaining two wickets for the addition of 15 runs to the overnight score of 59 for eight. The tourists, who will start the Anal test match against England at the Oval on Thursday, took only 25 minutes this morning to complete their crushing victory over Leicestershire. Valentine, who took six for 8 m the second Leicestershire innings, was injured when bowling at the nets before the start today. A ball hit him in the face, cutting his cheek and making his nnse bleed, but he took the field with the rest of the West Indies team. A subsequent Xray showed that he had a broken nose.
