Party Missing In Outback
(Rec. 11 p.m.) ADELAIDE. August 21. An Australian anthropologist. Dr. Donald Thomson, and his party are reported missing in the wilds of Central Australia. There has been no radio contact with them for several days and plans are being made* for an aerial search if word does not come through soon. Dr. Thomson’s expedition has been in the wilds for several weeks investigating Bindaboo tribesmen, about whom little is known.
,The expedition’s interpreters and aboriginal guides are reported to have deserted.
