N.Z.’s Rabbit Bill.—Approximate expenditure by the Rabbit Destruction Council in the last financial year was £1,292,235, says the council’s annual report. The increase from the usual £1,100,000 was due to a, marked increase in the amount of subsidy paid on rates collected. —(P.A.)
