HATCH CUP MATCH
Canterbury Beats South Canterbury
In a primary schools match between Canterbury and South Canterbury for the Hatch Cup, Canterbury won by 10 goals to 0. The Canterbury boys showed excellent control and by means of superior stickwork, good positional play and accurate passing completely dominated the match. In spite of the high score the South Canterbury goal-keeper played well and made a number of good saves in the face of repeated raids by the Canterbury forwards. Goals were scored for Canterbury by R. Barrell (6), Ji Parker (3), and T.-Burrows.
