A TREAT FOR ALL THE FAMILY Wholesome FRUIT SQUARES are quickly and easily made with BUTTERCRUST. Roll out BUTTERCRUST, line a tin with half and prick with a fork. Grate 4 or 5 apples, add J cup sugar, a few raisins, sultanas, nuts, dates, a little spice or nutmeg. Stand for 10 minutes. Strain off juice and spread mixture on BUTTERCRUST in tin. Cover with remainder of BUTTERCRUST, bake in moderate oven about 5 hour. Ideal for school lunches and so easy to make with BUTTERCRUST, the perfect sweet short pastry ready to roll and bake.
