An inter-association badminton contest between Nelson and West Coast was played in St. Columba Hall, Greymouth, today, and resulted in a win for West Coast by 13 matches to 3. Results (West Coast players named first):— Men’s Singles.—P. Coll beat B. Hart, 15-8, 15-9; A. Whitehead beat T. Sherlock, 15-8, 15-12; D. Finlay beat D. Sinclair, 15-5, 15-12; K. C6ll beat B. Challis, 15*6, 15-12. Women’s Singles.—Mrs M. Curnow beat Miss M. Millard, 11-8, 11-5; Miss J. Baird lost to Mrs S. Warren, 6-11, 11-8, 1-11; Miss M. Wall lost to Miss Chappell. 5-11. 11-13; Mrs D. Sinclair lost to Miss J. Sturgess, 9-12, 6-11. Men’s Doubles.—Whitehead and Finlay beat Sherlock and Hai t, 15-8, 15-5; Coll and Coll beat Sinclair and Challis, 15-6. 15-3: Women’s Doubles.—Mrs Curnow and Miss Baird beat Miss Millard and Mrs Warren. 15-8, 15-6; Miss Wall and Mrs Sinclair beat Misses Chaopell and Sturgess. 15-4, 15-9. Mixed Doubles.—P. Coll and Mrs Curnow beat Hart and Miss Millard. 15-0, 15-8; Whitehead and Mrs Sinclair beat Sinclair and Miss Sturgess, 15-4, 15-9; Finlay and Miss Baird beat Sherlock and Mrs Warren, 11-15, 15-3, 15-7; K.
