Box 239, HAMILTON. | 9680 NATIONAL ORGANISER NATIONAL ORGANISER A NATIONAL Organiser is required for the New Zealand Players Foundation following the merging of the administration of the New Zealand Players Theatre Trust which presents plays throughout New Zealand, and the Foundation which is the national audience support organisation. The Organiser ' will occupy a position in the administrative structure of the Players and will work in co-operation with the publicity and promotion staff of the Theatre Trust. The duties include the building and retaining of Foundation membership. assisting area Committees in their work, advising on foundation policy, general public relations, and audience building for the Players, and some of the Foundation clerical work. The successful applicant must be prepared to live in Wellington but will also be required to travel to the thirty centres visited by the Players. Important qualifications are good personality and address, tact, initiative, organising ability, a sense of responsibility, and a knowledge of New Zealand conditions. Preference will be given to applicants with experience /jf voluntary organisations and an interest in theatre.
