A former United States senator, Mr Waiter .George, President Eisenhower’s special ambassador to N.A.T.O. died at his home yesterday of a heart ailment at the age of 79. A onetime country lawyer, Senator George represented his home State, Georgia, in the United States Senate for 34 years.
