Man Escapes When Train Hits Car
(New Zeaiana Press Association) DANNEVIRKE, August 4. A Dannevirke bookseller had a dlose escape from serious injury when his car collided with a south-bound goods train at the Cole street crossing at 1.40 p.m. yesterday. The man, Keith Cawsey, suffered abrasions, lacerations and a broken collar-bone and was discharged after treatment at Dannevirke Hospital. The car was extensively damaged.
