Stout Has Bye In Semi-Finals
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 2. ' Three one-lifers, L. Stout and W. Harcourt, both of Wellington, and N. R. Lewis, of Auckland, survived the penultimate day of the New Zealand snooker championships today. Stout, the titleholder, has the bye into the final and Harcourt and Lewis will play tomorrow afternoon to decide Stout’s, challenger. Results: Harcourt beat B. Collins (Auckland), 62-22, 61-34, 41-72, 5312. L. Stout (Wellington), onelifer, beat N. R. Lewis (Auckland), two-lifer, 70-21, 68-40, 45-55, 64-53. W. Harcourt (Wellington), one-lifer, beat , C. R. Tremain (Auckland), one-lifer, 58-25, 6937, 53-25.
