Public Library
Sir.—At weekly intervals the Public Library unfurls the "Standard*- of Labour to the discordant strains of the Nstional organ. "Freedom.*' The "People's Voice" is never heard, while "Social Credit" is similarly denied democratic expression of belief and principle. Apathy has condoned this discrimination.— Yours, etc., HUMBLE HARRY. July 25, 1957. [This matter would be discussed at the next meeting of the Christchurch City Council’s library committee, said the chairman (Cr. R. G. Brown) when this letter was referred to him.]
