Stone In Bags Of Coal
(New Zeaiana Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 2. Twelve pounds of stone were taken from two bags of coal obtained from a State coal yard, said Miss M. B. Howard (Labour, Sydenham) in the House of Representatives this morning. She asked the Minister of Mines (Mr J. K. McAlpine) if he would ensure that coal sold by State coal yards is properly screened and free from stone.
