“Good Progress With Budget Preparation’
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 4. The Minister of Finance (Mr J. T. Watts) said today that he was making good progress with the preparation of the Budget. Mr Watts said five drafts of the Budget had already been made and he was still working on it. Asked if the Budget would be presented to the House of Representatives this month, Mr Watts said he could not say. It might be early next month, he added.
