Student Christian Conference
Students from all university and training colleges are attending a national study conference arranged by the Student Christian Movement at Rangi-ruru School, Christchurch, this week. The theme of the conference, taken in morning tutorials by Professor H. H. Rex, of Knox Theological Hall, is eschatology (the science of the last things, that is death, judgment, Heaven and hell). Evening addresses will be given by the General Secretary of the National Council of Churches (the Rev. A. A. Brash), the Otago Student Christian. Movement chaplain (the Rev. I. Dixon), the Wellington S.C.M. chaplain (the Rev. A. Gray), the Canterbury University College chaplain (the Rev. P. Goddard), the Rev. D. Hercus, of Wellington, and the General Secretary of the Student Christian Movement (Miss P. Morrison).
