Commonwealth loans and metals were stronger on the Sydney Stock Exchange yesterday. Textiles, key industrial stocks, and uraniums remained steady, while oils and mining were weaker. Trading was maintained at a moderately active level. The silver-lead grouMtended to firm, but oils were easier. United Uranium led a stronger uranium group, with a rise of 7d.
