Joyce, of Hounslow, Middlesex, can walk from Land’s End to John o’ Groats in a few seconds since he built this concrete scale map of Britain in the back garden of his home. The map is 18ft from north to south and has taken several months to construct. Classes from Hounslow schools have been invited to study the map.
