YEMEN PROTESTS TO U.N.
NEW YORK, May 21. The Yemen protested to the United Nations yesterday about alleged British “acts of aggression.” In a note to the SecretaryGeneral (Mr Dag Hammarskjold) the chief of the Red Sea kingdom’s delegation, Prince Saif al Islam Al-Hassan, said that British forces were “continuously firing in the position of Mati, in the eastern part of the Yemen, near Harib.”
He said that Britain was also massing forces and “great amounts of armaments and ammunitions” in Kumran.
