N.Z. Girl’s Marriage In London
(N.Z. Press Association— Copyright) LONDON. May 22. The marriage took place on May 14 between Peter, elder son of Mr and Mrs W. Moore, of Baker street, London, and Lesley, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs R. G. Lund, oi Northwood. Middlesex, previously of Christchurch. They were married at Holy Trinity Church. Brompton road, London. The bride wore a classic-styled dress in crystal organza, a headdress of orange blossom and carried a bouquet of white roses, freesias and lilies-of-the-valley. The bride’s father, Mr R. G. Lund, is the New Zealand representative of the International Wool Secretariat. The bridegroom’s father, Mr W. Moore, is a wholesale meat importer of Smithfield, dealing in New Zealand lamb. Mr L. F. Hartley. South African chairman of the International Wool Secretariat, proposed the toast.
