LABOUR PARTY OFFICERS
Mr Moohan Again President (New Zealand Press Association} WELLINGTON. May 7. Mr M. Moohan, M.P. for Petone. retained the presidency and Dr A. M. Findlay, of Auckland, was re-elected vice-president when officials of the New Zealand Labour Party were re-elected today. Voting for the presidency was: Messrs Moohan 413, J Mathison. M.P.. 98. J. Stewart 23. In the voting for vice-president Dr. Findlay received 289 and Mr J. Mathison with 142 Was the run-ner-up from eight other contestants. In the election of division area representatives, Mr J. Edwards, M.P. for East Coast, was defeated by Mr R. Feeling, M.P. for Gisborne, and Mr R Tizard, of Auckland, was replaced by Mr G. F. Bartley, of Auckland. Counting of votes for the five members of the executive is not yet completed.
