Doctors’ And Dentists’ Bills (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 3. Australians can deduct bills from doctors and dentists and for medicines and spectacles for income tax. purposes to a maximum of £5O a year, four Australian chemists said in Auckland yesterday. This was one of the differences between New Zealand and Australia that they have found. Another difference was that company pharmacies are not allowed in Australia, the policy being ‘’’one man, one pharmacy.” The four— Messrs H. A. Braithwaite, J. H. Dallimore, L. W. Smith, and W. C. Cotterell—all executives of chemists’ organisations, ™re guests at the silver jubilee conference of th# Chemists’ Service Guild of New Zealand in Auckland.
