OCCUPATIONAL HAZARD

Readers may recall this Milne drawing, which appeared on this page in July last year.

Spectators at Lancaster Park last Saturday might have judged the drawing prophetic, when they saw B. M. J. Dineen attempting to convert a try for University, and B. J. Molloy, who placed the ball for him, clutching his face in obvious distress. But Dineen had not been so careless as to kick Molloy as well as the ball. Molloy had had a knock on his left eye, and could not see clearly as he went down to hold the ball. He did not see Dineen approaching, and as the kick was made, a shower of dirt was thrown up; some of it entered Molloy’s damaged eye.
