Australian Antarctic Planes.
Ausirauan aukmvwv- * Australia would buy a third Canadian de Havilland Beaver aircraft for use in the Antarctic, the Minister of External Affairs (Mr R. G. Casey) announced today. The third aircraft would enable Australia always to have two Beaver aircraft at Mawson, the main base in the Antarctic continent, while a third was overhauled each year in Australia. — Canberra, April 17.
